Who owns the park or green space near me?
The Park Action Guide provides advice for parks owned and managed by the City of Cleveland – but the Cleveland Parks & Greenspace Coalition is here to help in any scenario!
If your nearby park is owned or managed by Cleveland Metroparks, a non-profit organization, or private individual, let us know! We’ll be happy to assist you to find the answers, resources, and support you need.

Having trouble? Here are a few tips:
Zoom in and out using the “+” and “—” icons in the upper left-hand corner.
Parcel owners will appear over each parcel (white borders) once zoomed in.
Parks owned by the City of Cleveland will be listed as: “CITY OF CLEVELAND” or “CLEVELAND, CITY OF” in the parcel map.
Cleveland Metroparks located in Cleveland-proper are often owned by the City of Cleveland but managed by the Metroparks (examples: Edgewater Park and E. 55th Marina)– this requires the use of both maps to get a full picture.
In the city parks and rec. map, parks managed by the City of Cleveland are outlined in green and those managed by the Cleveland Metroparks are outlined in brown.
